Welcome

St. James' Anglican Church

Morpeth

He is risen indeed! Alleluia! Alleluia!

This parish exists for the glory of God and to proclaim the liberating gospel of Jesus Christ through the care of God's people and worship according to the rites of the Christian Church.

Bishop Broughton, the first Bishop of Australia, consecreted the building in 1840.

It is the desire of Anglicans to admit all people of goodwill to the altar of God.

All who seek the divine mercy are welcome to receive the Eucharist here.

In union with Christ, we gather to worship God at the following times:

Sunday 9am Sung Eucharist

Friday 10am Eucharist

Holy Days 7.30am Eucharist

Tuesday to Friday 7.30am Morning Prayer

1st Sunday of the month 5pm Healing Service

Quiet prayers for healing with Holy Communion

4th Sunday of the month Families @ 4

Storytelling, Children's Activities, Prayer, Singing

Concluding with Family Meal
